Rentea is a mobile app that simplifies property renting in East Africa. With rentea, you can easily search for properties, filter by location, price, and amenities, and contact property owners directly.

Account creation in Rentea

if you're a property owner or manager and you have properties to rent, you need to create an account with Rentea

Registrstion Procedure:

Create Your Rentea Account

Step 1: Start Registration

1. Click "Create Account" at the top of the start page.

Step 2: Enter Basic Information

2. Fill in the required fields:
   • Name: Enter the name of the person or company creating the account.
   • User Phone Number: Enter a mobile number that you'll use to sign in and activate your account. Remember this number, as it will be used to access your account.
   • Country: Enter one of the East African countries (e.g., Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, or South Sudan).

Step 3: Add Additional Information

3. Click "Next" to open additional fields:
   • Email (optional): Enter an email address for password recovery and communication.
   • Contact Number: Enter a phone number that tenants can use to contact you.

Step 4: Set Up Account Security

4. Click "Next" for additional fields:
   • Password: Create a password to protect your account from unauthorized access.
   • Confirm Password: Re-enter the password to ensure accuracy.
   • Management: Select either "Personal" or "Company" to notify tenants of the property management type.

Step 5: Add Profile Image

5. Select an image to represent your account.

Step 6: Complete Registration

6. Click the "Register" button to create your account.

Important: If you press the "Register" button and nothing happens, scroll back to the previous fields to check for errors, marked in red with a description below.
